  1. HairyBerry: Man, of course! We abandoned ship, but lived to tell the tale!

    KY: Absolutely!!

Ravenous Rabbit: No lah, it was quite inedible!

Sean: I’m sure the ants enjoyed our leftovers. ^_^

minchow: The ploughing process was pretty torturous. I couldn’t possibly snap photographs of our pained look.

tastebudtalk: Yeah, there was a skewer holding it up. 🙂 I can’t really say what was in it as the meat tasted pretty generic despite their claim that the patties were homemade…I suppose they were chicken and beef patties, with generic ham and generic cheese and generic buns.

Jun: Hahaha. You will be proud to know that I barely made it through half a patty. 😀

J: But you must! A lot of thought went into it. 😛

  2. babe_kl: hehe…when you say “last bit”, i assume you mean the 2nd sentence out of all of 2 sentences?

lotsofcravings: yeah, they told us they only had the 8 inches as compared to the regular 12 inches. we were unable to measure then.

PA: yeah, could be taller, but no, we didn’t measure. I think my dining partner did a better job with the swallowing wor.

TNG: what’s stated on the menu is 12 inches, but they only offered us 8 inches. hehe. better luck next time, Becks? 😀

ciki: not so great when you have to eat it dismantled. it just looks good lah.

    Life for Beginners: You think!

Lisa: hahaha…yeah, this is the King for sure!

Leo: Only if you finish the burger!

  3. mimid3vils: I agree…it can be pretty messy!

via: You have very nice pictures!

fatboybakes: you mean all of 2 (DUA) lines. Yes.

sc: No lah….I barely went through one patty. It was a tough one to swallow.

  4. those above ppl who complaint could’t finish tat burger….i think it is supposed to share v others rite as a common sense!!!!
lemongrass:if u dowan eat it dismantled, then let me ask u tat how will u eat tat burger?
lotsofcravings:it’s reali 12 inches tall.i had been there before..

  5. Good question, Mango, and I shall attempt to answer it to the best of my abilities. 🙂 This burger obviously has to be eaten separately, but by doing so, it takes away the synergistic value of eating a burger with its condiments, patty and bun. The best way one can eat a burger, according to a friend who is a burger aficionado, is to pick it up, press it down a bit (to ensure that it fits the mouth perfectly), then take a huge bite across the cross section of the burger. I assure you that it makes a world of a difference. So coming back to the 12-inch burger, that is obviously not possible, so yes, one is not able to eat it without dismantling it. I’m glad you liked the burger, Mango. I’m sure many more will continue to enjoy it too. 🙂 Cheers!

  6. lemongrass:are you sure that the burger is from cravings k&b?i just had it yesterday and it was totally different from the picture that you posted…….you should refer to via’s blog review.the picture in via’s blog is exactly that i had it yesterday……is really 12 inches tall….and not 8 inches as what you said……

  7. lemongrass:you are cheating all of us.I am very sure that the burger picture that u posted is not from cravings K&B!!!!!!

  8. Who’s mango?

I agree with LL though. A burger should be small enough to take in in a mouthful after squishing it down a bit. And it should be messy. 😉

As for writing about it, well, one man’s meat is another man’s poison hor, your madge? 😉

  9. gasp, you’d NEVER cheat us would you, your madge?!!! sacre bleu, this is ay orrific accusation!!!! we are at your service, our queen…. (waving hands and bowing)….

  10. Anyone wanna offer me a free burger if i can squish it and take a bite without dismantling it? Yes I’m crazy that way and I believe in the power of my mouth.

  11. Well, I suppose you can cut it down to bite size and then skewer everything on a fork and pop it into your mouth. Then you’ll get a bit of everything, no?

Hahahaha.. rabid fruit indeed! Let go.. let go, damnit!!

  12. With respect to LL I’ve got to address some remarks to Mango;

Mango, while I respect your right of reply to Lyrical Lemongrass’s (LL’s) opinion, perhaps we should be more circumspect about accusing someone of ‘cheating.’ That’s highly personal and inflammatory.

If you ask yourself ‘WHY?’ would a food blogger of LL’s standing would deliberately ‘cheat’ her readers you would realise that if it were repetitive, very soon, no one will come read her blog. As it is, thousands of people visit her blog daily and some have even become friends with her.

All a blogger really has is their integrity and intelligent people like yourself will surely see through any attempt at lying/cheating or trickery. Read through her other posts and you will see she’s always…ALWAYS, GIVING HER OWN OPINION. Which you might not agree with but is her right to do so on her blog.

If you disagree with it, do prove her wrong by taking a pic of the menu at Cravings or getting someone from Cravings to contact LL to prove that this posting was perhaps in error.

LL is nothing if not fair.

Furthermore, coming to someone’s ‘home’ on the internet and accusing them of ‘cheating’ is rude, personal and uncalled for. And I’m sure you’ve been raised better than that by your parents. Whoever they may be.

In closing, free speech is about taking responsibility to DEBATE something. Not to ACCUSE so readily with no proof.

I believe I haven’t been discourteous to point out these things and I’ve taken the utmost care to be polite in writing these out, a courtesy that you haven’t extended to Lyrical Lemongrass in her ‘home.’

    Hope you will take note.

  13. LL cheats? but i thot LL already posted at May 12th, 2010 at 12:57 pm that they only have 8″ that day instead of 12″?
